An official within Korvosa’s byzantine bureaucracy, Petronicus was the one summoned to greet Lord Aquilos Nox after the latter had presented himself at the city gates as a liaison from Cheliax. Petronicus assured Nox that the turmoil in the city was being brought under control, but urged him to take precautions, such as donating blood for scrying purposes and securing an armed escort.

He promised to convey Nox’s request for an audience with the Queen to Her Radiant Majesty.
