Samp is a sewer scavenger and seemingly harmless. The party encountered him during their foray into the sewers to investigate the Temple of Asmodeus. Samp nervously warned them of the hell hounds guarding the Asmodean vault and provided them with directions to a less dangerous entrance.

He also warned the party about the Rat’s Teat Boys, in whose territory both he and they were operating.
