A fishmonger at the Reefclaw Run Market in Old Korvosa, Yamyra is the mother of Kyra. Mother and daughter shared a cozy apartment together in Smalltown, the halfling neighborhood of Old Dock.

However, Kyra has kept her criminal ties a secret from her mother, who believes her daughter to be merely co-manager of the Sticky Mermaid tavern.

After Old Korvosa was placed under quarantine, Yamyra was forced to flee her home with only what possessions she could carry as Slim and Kyra escorted her out of the district.

Though a warm and cheerful sort, Yamyra knows her way around a crossbow and has kept one handy these past few days.
