A Dwarven settlement in the Mindspin Mountains northeast of Korvosa, it is one of the legendary Sky Citadels founded by the Dwarves when they first reached the surface of Golarion. It is the only major Dwarven community in the frontier region.

A major source of both raw minerals and finely worth materials, Janderhoff has managed the rare feat of maintaining positive relations with both the Shoanti and the Chelish settlers of Korvosa. For centuries, the Dwarven city has acted as a middleman between the two, while expanding its mercantile endeavors across Varisia. This diplomatic position is a delicate one, as Janderhoff cannot afford to arouse the ire of the Shoanti, lose Korvosa’s deep-water port, or see the two sides come to war.
