The militant realm of Lastwall was founded centuries ago with a single purpose: to keep watch over the prison of Tar-Baphon, the Whispering Tyrant, defeated but not destroyed in the Shining Crusade. But that purpose is being eclipsed by Lastwall’s ongoing struggle with the orcs of the neighboring Hold of Belkzen.

Three times since Lastwall’s founding have the orcs overrun the nation’s defenses and pushed back its borders. Constant raids and border skirmishes persist to this day, and it is only a matter of time before the orcs gather into a horde capable of breaching the latest line of defenses.

The capital of Lastwall is the fortress-city of Vigil, home to the fabled Crusader War College and the headquarters of the Knights of Ozem, a martial order dedicated to Iomedae.
